Getting ready for its 14th year, Twinwood Festival is the original and best festival celebrating the style and music of the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Last year, they launched the inaugural, national search for MR & MISS VINTAGE UK, and thanks to the huge success of that competition they are all set to search for their 2015 winners.

The only event of its kind, the contest will celebrate those people who best represent the iconic styles of the era, with prizes to be won from Twinwood Events, Vivien of Holloway, Vintage Life Magazine, and more!

Offering a unique chance for candidates to show off their vintage hair-dos, make up, clothes and accessories, the competition has just launched with the finals scheduled to take place on Sunday 30th August as part of the excellent vintage weekend Twinwood Festival.

The presenter of the awards this year is actress and singer Anita Harris, the legendary chart topping singer, dancer, and film actress.

Once again, the judging panel will be lead by vintage style icon Lola Lamour herself.

Well established on the vintage circuit, Lola Lamour is old school style personified. With her incredible knowledge of all things vintage and her dedication to living the lifestyle she is the perfect head judge and presenter in the search for Mr Vintage UK 2015 and Miss Vintage UK 2015. Lola will also be providing exclusive hair and make up tutorials in the run up to the event.

Lola will also be Joined by her co-judges Dusty Limits and Mark Ewing.

A unique competition, Miss Vintage UK and Mr Vintage UK is purely a style competition and age and body shape are not a factor – simply the ability to capture the spirit of the era.

How to Enter

To enter this fantastic competition simply get dressed up in your best vintage finery and email your photos (must be at least 300dpi) to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Based on a unique concept, Chaplin’s Circus show goes far beyond the usual collection of magic, juggling and acrobatics, weaving a tale of love, history and pantomime with a series of the best circus acts you are ever likely to see with one exception, clowns are banned! Taking the audience back to 1924, the show tells the story of a Chaplin’s Circus who have asked aviator Orville Wright to save their ailing fortunes by creating the world’s first ‘Human Cannonball’. With the big top rammed full and an audience ready to see the premiere of the new attraction, the excitement backstage is palpable and the audience are part of the show, observing the thrills and spills the performers must go through to create the big night that will save the show from bankruptcy.
